In memory of the late Nathaniel Kronisch, CEO of Buying Time Digital, Washington Media Scholars Foundation is proud to establish the Nathaniel Kronisch Memorial Scholarship.

Nathaniel’s passion for digital media and commitment to excellence continue to inspire the next generation of storytellers. This scholarship is designed to empower students who demonstrate exceptional creativity and a deep understanding of digital media’s evolving landscape. By recognizing their talents, we aim to help them achieve their academic and professional aspirations while celebrating Nathaniel’s enduring legacy.

The application for the Nathaniel Kronisch Memorial Scholarship is open and available to undergraduate students.

Ideal candidate would demonstrate:

• Field of study or major relevant to digital media, including majors such as journalism, communications, media studies, media sales, digital marketing, or similar discipline.

• Interest in a career in digital media, providing evidence of a genuine passion for digital media such as relevant coursework, projects, internships, or extracurricular activities.

• Innovative or creative thinking, evidenced through unique projects, interests and/or community involvement.

Application Process:

• Submit 

  • A personal statement outlining their career goals, interest in digital media, and how the scholarship will contribute to their aspirations. 

  • Any related work samples from classwork, internships, or other interests and  activities.

  • A  letter of recommendation from a professor/advisor, mentor, or professional in the field of media who can attest to the candidate’s skills and potential.

  • A professional resume 

• Finalists will be invited for a video interview.

• Applications due February 16, 2025
