Created in 2009, WMSF has helped hundreds of undergraduate college students seeking degrees in media and policy related degrees fulfill their academic and career goals through scholarship, professional development and connections. Over 800 students from 238 colleges and universities have benefitted from over $3 million dollars in scholarship and support since WMSF’s founding.
Robin is also the co-founder and CEO of National Media Research, Planning & Placement. He is widely recognized as a leader and pioneer in the political and issue-advocacy advertising. He has supervised strategic media research, planning, and placement for hundreds of campaigns. His proven ability to continually redefine and reinvent the industry during times of constant technological change and increasing audience fragmentation makes NMRPP the preeminent outlet for delivering your campaign’s message.
The Foundation coordinates two initiatives: Media Scholars and Media Fellows. These signature platforms fulfill the mission of creating scholarship, educational and career advancement opportunities for college students interested in strategic media. Previous scholarship recipients pursued an array of academic disciplines including Media, Communications, and Political Science.
The WMSF scholarship has allowed me to move forward with my education. Recently I have faced adversity head on through brain surgery and radiation which has taken a great toll on me. This scholarship has allowed me to relieve some financial stress and allowed me to have confidence within myself when returning back to school this fall. It has also allowed me to be able to reflect on myself and what I would like to pursue within my future career.
