2024 Media Case Competition, Finalists Announced!

WMSF is thrilled to announce the finalists for its highly anticipated 2024 Media Case Competition. The competition, which aimed to celebrate and recognize outstanding talent in the field of media, saw a record breaking number of participants.
After careful consideration and rigorous evaluation by our esteemed panel of judges, we are delighted to announce the following finalists:

Dana Jones and Skylar Workman of Team BePINK! from Ball State University
Elise Cagnard and Stacia Drey of Team Stacia and Elise from The University of Iowa and Iowa State University, respectively.
Abby Jensen and Shelby Moore of Team Mediamasters from Brigham Young University
Kate Miller and Molly Fitzsimons of The Indexers from Ithaca College
Amirah Elliott and John Freeman of Team Media Evolution from La Salle University
Alex Spanos and Lorryn Mead of L.A Media Group from Adelphi University
Alternates:
Alison Reed and Grace Murphy of Team Roll Media from The University of Alabama
Julia Provvisionato and Olivia Dumont of Kuft Media from Syracuse University

 

 

Each team demonstrated exceptional creativity, skill, and innovation in their submissions, making the selection process incredibly challenging. Their work stood out among a pool of impressive entries, showcasing the diverse talent within the media industry.
The finalists will now advance to the final round of competition during  an all-expense paid trip to Washington, DC (June 2-7) where they will compete for $18,500 in scholarships and participate in career changing networking opportunities.
