Washington Media Scholars Foundation Brings Annual Media Mixer to Nationals Park
to Be Held June 11 as Part of Media Scholars Week 2026
The Washington Media Scholars Foundation (WMSF) is excited to announce that its annual Media Mixer will be held at Nationals Park on the evening of June 11, 2026, as part of Media Scholars Week — the organization’s flagship annual event in the nation’s capital.
The Media Mixer brings together students, alumni, and media industry leaders for an evening of networking and celebration. This year, for the first time, the event will take place on the field level of one of Washington D.C.’s most iconic venues.
“This isn’t just a reception — it’s a statement,” said Tori McMichael, Executive Director of WMSF. “As we mark America’s 250th anniversary, we wanted a setting that matched the moment. Nationals Park delivers that and then some.”
The 2026 event carries the theme “The Next Voice of America,” celebrating the next generation of media professionals and the industry leaders who are helping shape the future of the field.
