For over 30 years, I have had the pleasure to meet with a number of college students seeking guidance as they consider pursuing a career in public policy advertising. We began the Washington Media Scholars Foundation to provide the opportunity for college students to gain firsthand knowledge of the public policy advertising field, and to meet – and potentially work for – leaders in the media industry. California State University, Bakersfield Winners of National Award

Congratulations to California State University, Bakersfield students Adrienne Salazar and Ricardo Perez, winners of the 2015 Media Plan Case Competition. Each will receive a $5,000 scholarship award. Becky Lyle and Alexandra Sorensen, recent Brigham Young University-Idaho graduates, also received $3,000 scholarship awards as the first runner-up team.
