For over 30 years, I have had the pleasure to meet with a number of college students seeking guidance as they consider pursuing a career in public policy advertising. We began the Washington Media Scholars Foundation to provide the opportunity for college students to gain firsthand knowledge of the public policy advertising field, and to meet – and potentially work for – leaders in the media industry. Scholarship Applications now due July 22nd.

The summer application period for the Media Fellows Program scholarships has been extended to Wednesday, July 22, 2015. To enter, qualified applicants must submit a 500-word essay and one letter of recommendation from a college professor, advisor, or internship supervisor. California State University, Bakersfield Winners of National Award

Congratulations to California State University, Bakersfield students Adrienne Salazar and Ricardo Perez, winners of the 2015 Media Plan Case Competition. Each will receive a $5,000 scholarship award. Becky Lyle and Alexandra Sorensen, recent Brigham Young University-Idaho graduates, also received $3,000 scholarship awards as the first runner-up team.
